Ailsa Mitchell is the proud owner of Fairywren Music and has been teaching voice, guitar and piano for 10 years and playing since she was a child. As a teacher her goal is to bring a vitality and enthusiasm into every students’ practice, helping them to overcome obstacles and achieve their goals through creative applications of musical technique and theory. With a gentle, fun approach, her passion for music is joyously infectious.
Alongside teaching, Ailsa performs as an indie folk musician. Drawing influence from Celtic and contemporary folk sounds, the diverse music scene around her and the natural world, her playful approach results in a sound that is tender, imaginative and heartfelt.
